DIVIDEND INFORMATION

ELIGIBLE DIVIDEND INFORMATION

 

For purposes of the enhanced dividend tax credit rules contained in the Income Tax Act (Canada) and any corresponding provincial and territorial tax legislation, all dividends paid by Bridgemarq Real Estate Services (the “Company”) to Canadian residents on our restricted voting shares are designated as “eligible dividends”. Unless stated otherwise, all dividends are designated as "eligible dividends” for the purposes of these rules.

 

Investors who are not residents of Canada should consult their income tax professional with respect to their personal income tax circumstances as to the characterization of any dividends paid by the Company.

 

DIVIDEND RECORD AND PAYMENT DATE

 

Bridgemarq has a history of paying regular dividends to shareholders on a monthly basis. All dividend payments are approved by Bridgemarq's Board of Directors. Monthly dividends on Bridgemarq's restricted voting shares which are approved by the Board will be made to shareholders of record on the last business day of the month preceding the month of payment. The payment date is the earlier of the 30th of the following month, or the last business day of the following month if the 30th falls on a weekend.

 

DIVIDENDS

 

Bridgemarq has a history of paying monthly dividends to shareholders, since January 2011. Prior to 2011, Bridgemarq operated as an income trust and had a history of paying monthly cash distributions to unit holders.

 

All dividend payments are subject to declaration by our Board of Directors.
